# CONFLICT: 2027

> A turn-based political simulation game and work of interactive fiction. You play the newly elected Prime Minister of Israel in January 2027 and have 48 monthly turns to try to win a durable peace. It is an homage to the 1990 DOS game *Conflict: Middle East Political Simulator*. It is fiction and a game, not a forecast, a model, or a claim about real events.

## Editions

- **Archive edition** (default, free, no account): the complete 48-turn game on hand-authored narration. Every ending, including The Handshake, is winnable in it.
- **Live edition**: Claude writes the briefings, authors the crises, and plays your negotiation counterparts. Available three ways — a one-off purchase of a single campaign on the hosted site, bringing your own Anthropic API key (held only in your browser tab's memory, billed to your own Anthropic account), or self-hosting with your own key.

Playing free requires no account and sends no personal data. Signing in is needed only to purchase a live campaign or to use your own key.
